Guelph Police Lay Trafficking Charges in Death Investigation
On June 16th, 2014 Guelph Police were called to a Guelph residence in relation to a 59 year old female victim who was vital signs absent (VSA).
An investigation was commenced by the Guelph Police Investigative Services Unit into the death of the female victim, and as a result a 41 year old Guelph female was charged with two counts of Trafficking. The accused is alleged (on two separate occasions) to have provided her medication to the deceased prior to her death.
The accused and the deceased female are known to one another. The accused was charged and later released on an Officer in Charge Undertaking and Promise to Appear with a court date of August 5th, 2014. The cause of death is still being further investigated and therefore no further information will be released.

On June 15th, 2014 the Guelph Police were notified that 19 year old Andria APULINARIO had not returned home. Further investigation revealed earlier on Sunday morning Andria had taken a bus from Guelph to Mississauga with a friend. She was last seen boarding a bus destined for Toronto at approximately 12pm from Square One in Mississauga. Andria is believed to be in the Toronto area possibly staying at shelters in that area. Several attempts have been made by family and friends to connect with Andria via social media networks to ascertain her whereabouts and check on her well-being.
Andria APULINARIO is a 19 year old Caucasian female with a medium to dark complexion, 5’3”, 110lbs, with very curly afro like shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
Police and Family members are concerned for the well-being of Ms. Alpuninario and are asking anyone with information on this missing person investigation to contact the Guelph Police Service at 519-824-1212 or the investigating officer Det. Cst. Scott Wright at extension 7330.
Drug Transaction – Arrests Made
On June 19th, 2014, members of the Guelph Police observed an interaction between two persons in St. Georges Square. An investigation was commenced and as a result, a quantity of Dilaudid, Morphine, Lorazepam, Oxycodone and Marihuana were seized.
A 33 year old Guelph male and a 38 year old Guelph male have been charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Controlled Substance. They have been held in custody pending a bail hearing on June 20th, 2014.
Bike Rodeo Winners
On June 19th, 2014, the Guelph Police Service’s School Safety unit gathered the top 2 Bike Rodeo winners from each school across the city to compete at Victoria Road Recreation Centre. The riders tested their skills on rules of the road, signals, and even rode in an obstacle course.
