The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.

On Monday, July 15, 2019, at approximately 11 p.m., officers responded to a call for a Sexual Assault in Cook Road and Sentinel Road area.

It is reported that:

- a 20-year-old woman was walking on Cook Road

- a man approached her and began a conversation on the street

- he invited her to his residence to continue to socialize with her

- once inside his room, he sexually assaulted her

On Tuesday , July 16, 2019, Georges Njockachem, 26, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Sexual Assault

He appeared at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 10 a.m., room 306.

This is an on-going investigation.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing woman.

Margaret Walker, 61, was last seen on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in the Bloor Street West and Avenue Road area.

She is described as 5’7”, short grey hair, usually wears a dark jacket with white shirt and dark skirt.

She is known to frequent Bloor Street West and Avenue Road area as well as the areas of Queens Park and University of Toronto.
